How much does self drive car rental cost in Goa?
GoGoaGet self drive cars start at ₹900 a day for a hatchback and run to ₹30,000 a day at the luxury end. Rates are per day on a minimum 2 days booking and include delivery and collection anywhere in Goa. Weekly and monthly rates are lower than the daily rate multiplied out.
Which car should I rent in Goa?
Goan roads reward a small car far more than an impressive one. Choose in this order: how many people, how much luggage, how far south you are going. A hatchback is right for two or three people, an SUV if you want ground clearance for village lanes, and an MPV for six or more. If the same car is offered in manual and automatic, take the automatic.
Do I need an International Driving Permit to drive in Goa?
If your licence was issued outside India, yes. Carry the International Driving Permit alongside your home licence, plus your passport as photo ID. Indian licence holders need a valid licence covering four wheelers and one government photo ID.
Can I get a driver with the car?
Yes. A professional local driver can be arranged with any car or SUV at an additional charge. For a wedding party, a day that involves feni tasting, elderly parents, or a first visit where nobody has driven in India before, it is straightforwardly the better call.
Do you deliver the car to my hotel or the airport?
Yes. Cars are delivered to hotels, villas and homestays anywhere in Goa, and to arrivals at both Dabolim and Mopa airports, then collected from wherever you finish. There is no counter and no queue.
Is a self drive car better than a scooter in Goa?
It depends on the trip. Four wheels win if you are travelling with family, visiting between June and September, staying one end of Goa while exploring the other, or carrying real luggage. Two wheels win if you are two people staying in one area and parking down lanes a car cannot reach. Many longer trips take both.
